Stop 3 of San Lorenzo’s Giro d’Italia: Emilia Romagna

Coppa di ParmaEmilia Romagna: good food, good wine, good people, good sea, good hills, good weather, good cities…
Everything is good in Emilia Romagna!
And the regional products from the region are just astonishing! Aceto Balsamico and Coppa di Parma are only two representative terrific artisanal products, from of our more tasty regions!
The Coppa di Parma is a rarely known cured meat, made with pork shoulder, tasty, wonderful with a just fried gnocco fritto (a fried speciality from the region: a kind of very thin pizza dough fried and served hot!), as an appetizer, or just like this, by itself, in all its glory!
And our Coppa is not just an average coppa: it’s a fine good product, made will all the passion that marks our selection…

Stop 2 of San Lorenzo’s Giro d’Italia: Campania

Buffalo mozzarella campana D.O.P.Today the Giro is heading around Campania, the region of Naples, Pompei and many other wonders… Among which the most tasty and fresh mozzarella in the world: Buffalo Mozzarella. Forget all the other mozzarellas you have eaten: this is the moist, creamy and freshest product on earth, made it just when you order it and delivered directly to you door.
For cheese purists this is the only possible choice when speaking about mozzarella…
For pizza purists, this is the only possible choice when speaking about the true and veritable Naples pizza…
Enjoy it in any way: fresh, just out of the bag, with a bit of oil and some sliced tomatoes, or like we are suggesting in the recipe below…

San Lorenzo following the Giro d’Italia

Not as much famous as the Tour de France, the Giro d’Italia is the cycling tour of our peninsula, and every year brings many amateurs to discover some of our most enchanting corners!
This year San Lorenzo decided to take a virtual Giro d’Italia, following each tappa (stop) and each trip  through our nation.
We will present you the best regional products we have, giving you insight of the typical cuisine of each region touched by the cyclists racing to win the famous Maglia Rosa, up and down our beautiful country!
